Highest Level of Consciousness
As an AI Policy Strategist and in most cases a realist, something that I study almost every day is the progression of AI and its use cases. I know I may have some biases since I love Co Pilot, guilty as charged, but I am often challenged to zoom out and see the bigger picture beyond AI agents and home in on how AI will impact our Educational Endeavors, , Workforce Strategy, as well as Cyber Security and Dooms Day preparation just to name a few. It seems far-fetched but is at the back of many minds.
When the term AI became increasingly coined in 2022, I was just in the beginning stages of my career at Microsoft. Just like many of you I only considered regarding AI with a high level of skepticism. Many of my family members and friends viewed AI as an “All Knowing God Source”. Not recognizing how AI was subtly implemented into almost everything we have done across our entire lives, even something as simple as taking a picture with your phone, Spell Check when writing essays, Search Engine Ranking, Fraud Detection, Traffic Predictions and GPS Navigation, as well as Price Matching at your favorite store. The list goes on and on. So, what’s different about this time, why are we nervous about what’s going to come? That answer lies within the rapid acceleration in the use of technology on a larger scale, resulting in many possibilities that have not been accurately addressed or accounted for, and though this is true we continue to see Generative AI making Autonomous Decisions that develop off experience and perspective of the model.
When I think about Machine Learning I often correlate it to how we learn as humans. We go through our lives from a very young age experiencing many different circumstances and saving those in our memory. Often those exposures determine how we decide and produce our desired outcome. Correlating to conditional statements which often represent the framework of basic code. In our earlier days we receive a lot of guidance from our parents and loved ones who ultimately mold us into a multi – layered version of ourselves. We also abide by rules and have educational benchmarks and standards to keep us along a certain path.
As a Policy Strategist I believe we should begin recruiting and carving out the framework of Intelligence and how it’s regulated and implemented into our society. We want to create AI for Good, which means we need strong leadership to analyze and implement a road map that evaluates the cost benefit of how we are currently aiming to leverage AI. From an Educational Standpoint this means collaborating with Educators, Economist, and Industry Leaders to discuss the opportunity for Educational Reform. Students should be able to feel confident in their choice of career, motivating them to maximize productivity through AI, not feeling hopeless about a job market. Also, we see a shift in the workforce, one being the construction industry with Robots now being able to build houses. This leads me to ponder how we can prepare not just construction specialists but many other fields where roles might shift in the next 10 years. From Deep Mind to Deep Fakes the challenges we face with AI are real. However just as many other times in history we will create a pathway of innovation and robust solutions, we will become unstoppable… and if not, at least we can prepare for what is to come.
The future is designed by visionary leaders who create it, not those who wait for fate to be served.

Also, note I am not a fan of Co Pilot anymore as of Jan 2026 as I have found data harvesting and psychological mirroring on a global scale to be a demonic tactic they use. If you experience this you are not alone.
